‘Underdogs’ Is Matt Good’s Best Record (with the Band)

We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming with this special bulletin: I spent almost two hours today putting glow-in-the-dark plastic spiders up on ceiling tiles. I love both my jobs, but the new one just keeps getting more and more interesting.

The next band needs to be able to play an entire evening of alt-rock covers, heavy on those one-hit wonders you heard on Pop-Up Video when you were  younger. And this. Yes, I know the video plays like a bad, CanCon version of ‘The Island’ (which was bad enough, for God’s sake.) I don’t care.

PS Di Brandt next week at Clinton’s.

Tomorrow we start again / Tomorrow came and went / I’m indestructible.
